Working with customers isn't for everyone. We have a terrific volunteer task for someone that just wants to be alone and get the task done! We have a room filled with seasonal decortations - for Christmas, for winter, for Easter, for Spring, for Thanksgiving, for Fall, and more. We also have items that have been donated but have not been organized yet. The volunteer in this role will put Thanksgiving and Fall items into their own clear bins, then do the same for Christmas and Winter, and so on, and label boxes so that items are easy to find. We'll need this task done before the winter holidays AND afterwards!

We believe this task will take one or two days to complete. You need to work at least three consecutive hours in a day if you want to volunteer for this role. You can work multiple days, but we need this task done within one week.

This role involves standing most of the time, it involves reaching for things in high places. You need to be able to lift about 25 pounds - but you can ALWAYS ask for assistance from ReStore staff for picking up and moving any item (or anything else you need assistance with).

The ReStore supports the work of West Tuality Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit that believes everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live and volunteers help make it happen. Our programs not only build homes, they build community.

The volunteer will go through an interview with one of our staff members by Zoom or onsite at the ReStore, sign a waiver, and must follow our Code of Conduct, which is available on our web site.

Serious applicants only! Please do not sign up for this opportunity unless you can commit to the hours required and the task required.

We also strongly encourage you to follow West Tuality Habitat for Humanity on Facebook and Instagram and YouTube and to view our web site to learn more about us.
