ORGANIZATION: Amherst H. Wilder Foundation
Please visit the new page to apply.
Wilder helps young adults and families experiencing homelessness in our community achieve independence and stability with Supportive Housing Services. We host an annual Tenant Training for families we serve. The training aims to support whole families by offering children and youth programming to parent and caregiver participants in attendance.
Support this training by volunteering and building relationships with youth in a community setting!
Volunteer Shift: 10/24 from 4:45pm-7:15pm
Details:
- Assist with activities for children and youth (estimated ages three to fourteen) as their parents and caregivers participate in programming. A staff member will be onsite to lead children and youth activities. Volunteers will support the implementation of those activities, which will include story time, games, and various arts and crafts projects.
- Flexibility is key in this role as group size and youth ages will vary from shift to shift.
- Open to volunteers age 16 and up.
- You can sign up to volunteer for one or multiple shifts.
