Mission Statement
Project Kindred is a youth development program dedicated to disrupting the cycle of segregation by uniting and empowering diverse young leaders through transformative experiences.
Description
We provide countless opportunities to unite Milwaukee’s young people and lead them to common ground, foster positive peer relationships, and develop the skills and values necessary to become empowered future leaders - building diverse, equitable, loving communities for the next generation.
We do this through year round and summer camp programs with young people in 5th - 12th grades. Our participants are directly representative of Milwaukee census data in race, economics, and gender identity. We aim to disrupt the cycle of segregation by building bridges and creating relationships across Milwaukee.
