Position Summary:
Precious Pairs Inc. is seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team. The Web Designer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the organization’s website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with our mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of web design work, experience with various web design tools and platforms, and a passion for using their skills to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Design and Development:
- Design and develop a visually engaging, easy-to-navigate website that effectively communicates the mission, programs, and initiatives of Precious Pairs Inc.
- Ensure the website is optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with the content team to integrate multimedia elements, such as images, videos, and graphics, to enhance user experience.
Website Maintenance and Updates:
- Regularly update website content, ensuring information is current, accurate, and relevant.
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum usability.
- Implement updates to improve website functionality, including integrating new features and tools as needed.
Brand Consistency and Visual Identity:
- Ensure that the website’s design is consistent with Precious Pairs Inc.'s branding and visual identity guidelines.
- Work with the marketing and communications team to create web pages that align with ongoing campaigns, events, and other initiatives.
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design:
- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand the needs and behaviors of our target audience.
- Implement best practices in UX/UI design to create an intuitive and engaging experience for website visitors.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content creators, marketers, and program directors, to understand project requirements and deliver web solutions that meet organizational goals.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members regarding website-related queries.
