Position Title: Training Assistant

Overview: As a Training Assistant, you’ll work closely with the training team to ensure that staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries receive the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. Your role combines administrative support, coordination, and active participation in training sessions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Training Logistics:

   • Scheduling: Assist in scheduling training sessions, workshops, and orientations.
   • Venue Coordination: Arrange training venues, equipment, and materials.
   • Participant Communication: Communicate training details to participants.

2. Materials Preparation:

   • Content Review: Collaborate with trainers to review training materials (presentations, handouts, videos).
   • Printing and Distribution: Ensure materials are printed and distributed before training sessions.
   • Technology Setup: Set up audiovisual equipment for presentations.

3. Participant Support:

   • Welcome and Registration: Greet participants and assist with sign-in.
   • Logistics Assistance: Address participant queries related to logistics (parking, breaks, etc.).
   • Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from participants after each session.

4. Training Sessions:

   • Facilitation Support: Assist trainers during sessions (e.g., managing breakout groups, timekeeping).
   • Note-Taking: Take notes during training sessions for reference and follow-up.
   • Interactive Activities: Coordinate icebreakers, group discussions, and role-playing exercises.

5. Evaluation and Improvement:

   • Post-Training Evaluation: Assist in evaluating training effectiveness.
   • Identify Areas for Improvement: Provide insights on how to enhance future training sessions.
   • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on best practices in training and adult learning.

6. Collaboration:

   • Training Team: Work closely with trainers, subject matter experts, and other assistants.
   • Cross-Functional Interaction: Collaborate with HR, program, and communication teams.
