We are seeking a passionate, creative, and entry level skilled Video Editor to join our social media team, responsible for the creation and editing of our YouTube videos. The ideal candidate will be proficient in video editing software and possess a keen eye for detail. The Video Editor will work closely with our content creation team to produce engaging and visually stunning videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
1. Responsibilities:
· Edit video footage to create compelling and visually appealing content that aligns with our brand's objectives and target audience.
· Collaborate with the content creation team to conceptualize and storyboard video projects.
· Enhance video and audio quality by adjusting colors, lighting, and sound levels as needed.
· Add visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance the overall production value of YouTube videos.
· Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all video content produced.
· Manage video files and maintain organized project folders to facilitate efficient workflow and collaboration.
2. Requirements:
· A bachelor's degree in Media Arts or a related field is required.
· Good experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a good portfolio showcasing video editing skills and creative projects.
· One year experience in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
· Solid understanding of video editing techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects.
· Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
· Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
· A passion for video editing and a desire to continuously create and develop.
