Gain valuable experience while sharpening your critical thinking and reasoning skills. Volunteer as an ethics teacher at your local primary school! Volunteer ethics teachers run a weekly 30-minute lesson, teaching children how to think deeply, discuss respectfully and develop well-reasoned opinions about everyday, age-appropriate ethical issues.

By joining our team you’ll get the opportunity to:

• Undertake free comprehensive training, online or in person
• Facilitate thought-provoking discussions amongst primary school students
• Learn new skills in facilitation and classroom management
• Learning about philosophical ideas and principles
• Have access to continued professional development and expert lesson materials
• Volunteer within your local community at a school near you

A commitment of only 1 hour a week is required to volunteer, which includes a 30-minute class and preparation. Opportunities exist at many public schools, allowing you to volunteer at a location that suits you. No experience is necessary and all training and lesson materials are provided.
