Position Overview:

The Program Mentor at Pathway to Recovery Foundation plays a crucial role in guiding and supporting individuals participating in our recovery programs. The mentor will serve as a positive role model, offering encouragement, guidance, and practical advice to help participants navigate their recovery journey. This position is integral to creating a supportive and empowering environment that fosters growth, resilience, and long-term success in recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentorship & Support:

    • Provide one-on-one mentorship to participants, offering guidance, support, and encouragement.
    • Develop and maintain trusting relationships with mentees, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for open communication.
    • Help mentees set and achieve personal recovery goals, offering practical advice and resources.
  • Program Facilitation:

    • Assist in the planning and facilitation of group mentoring sessions and recovery-related workshops.
    • Collaborate with the Program Director and other team members to ensure that mentoring sessions align with the overall goals of the recovery programs.
    • Participate in the development and implementation of program materials and resources.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Regularly monitor mentees' progress, identifying areas where additional support may be needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of mentee interactions, progress, and any challenges encountered.
    • Report on mentee progress to the Program Director and participate in regular team meetings.
  • Community Engagement:

    • Foster a sense of community among participants by encouraging peer support and positive interactions.
    • Act as an advocate for mentees, connecting them with additional resources and support services as needed.
    • Participate in community outreach activities to promote the program and engage potential participants.
