Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Communications and Social Media Intern to join our team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and nonprofit communications. The intern will play a key role in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our community to promote literacy and education initiatives.
About East Side Learning Center (ESLC)
East Side Learning Center’s mission is to unlock each child’s potential through the foundation of readingthrough one-on-one literacy mentor tutoring. We believe that reading is the foundation for all learning and that every child deserves the opportunity to achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in creating, scheduling, and managing content for ESLC’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
· Develop social media campaigns and strategies to increase awareness and engagement.
· Develop engaging and creative social media content, including graphics, videos, and stories.
· Monitor social media channels for comments and messages and engage with followers to foster a positive online community.
· Create and implement plans to increase social media followership on all platforms.
· Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.

Description
East Side Learning Center (ESLC) is a nonprofit organization based out of St. Paul, MN since 2001. We are an educational partnership with the School Sisters of Notre Dame and a proud host of AARP Foundation Experience Corps. ESLC provides reading tutoring services to low income Kindergarten through 3rd grade students who are not yet reading at grade level. Join us as a volunteer for the upcoming school and help us to make a difference in the lives of St. Paul's most vulnerable children!
