Nourish Knoxville is looking for volunteers for our Wednesday & Saturday Market Square Farmers Market. Volunteers may assist with setting up and breaking down the market information booths, conducting crowd counts, processing transactions for Market Money (Nourish Knoxville's ATM system) - Double Up Food Bucks (SNAP doubling program) - and SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps), operating our Nourish Kids children's activities, operating our Nourish Moves walking program, and/or assisting customers with our sustainability programs.
All volunteers must be sixteen years or older. Scheduling is flexible and based on volunteer availability. If interested, please fill out the following form: https://tinyurl.com/nourishknoxville. Our volunteer coordinator will reach out as soon as possible.
Wednesday shifts run every Wednesday (May - October) from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM and 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Saturday shifts run every Saturday (May - November) from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM and 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM.

Nourish Knoxville works to cultivate a healthier, more locally-focused Knoxville by supporting farmers, producers, and the public. We started and manages the Market Square Farmers' Market, Market Square Holiday Market, and Winter Farmers' Market; create and distribute the East Tennessee Local Food Guide; and manage programs like the Power of Produce Club at markets to encourage children to eat healthy and engage in the local food system and the AARP-funded SNAP/Fre$h Savings doubling program for our markets.
