At our Brooklyn campus, we’re looking for a Teen Coordinator to help guide and support our youth as they navigate their personal and spiritual journeys.

About the Role:

As a Volunteer Teacher in the Teens Ministry, you will play a key role in teaching and mentoring teens, helping them explore their faith and grow in their relationship with God. This role involves leading engaging lessons, facilitating discussions, and supporting teens in their spiritual journey.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Bible-based lessons and discussions that resonate with teens.

• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.

• Encourage teens to explore and deepen their faith.

• Collaborate with the Teens Ministry team to plan and execute lessons and activities.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to teens, helping them navigate life’s challenges with a faith-based perspective.

• Assist with coordinating events, retreats, and other ministry activities.

What You’ll Need:

• A genuine love for working with teens and a passion for teaching.

• Familiarity with the Bible and the ability to relate its teachings to everyday life.

• Good communication skills for connecting with teens and fellow volunteers.

• Patience, empathy, and a willingness to listen and support teens.

• Alignment with the church’s mission, values, and beliefs.

Schedule:

• Sundays: 11:30am - 3:00pm (2 Sundays per month onsite), 3 hours during the week/ flex
