About Bridge H2OPE:

Bridge H2ope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing clean drinking water to rural Ethiopian communities. Our mission is to make a lasting impact on the lives of Ethiopians by ensuring access to safe and sustainable water sources through the construction of a water well project, and to oversee our chapters nationwide. We educate, empower and advocate for clean water, and we hope you can join us.

Position: Associate level Internship (Unpaid) with 15-20 hours per week.

Number of Positions: Three

Eligibility: College students entering their junior or senior year at a 4-year institution, passionate about making a difference in the nonprofit sector help providing clean and safe drinking water to people in rural Ethiopian Community.

Job Duties:

• 50% Administrative Support: Assisting in day-to-day administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, community education and outreach, and scheduling meetings.

• 30% Assist with Project Management: Supporting project managers in coordinating and executing clean water initiatives.

• 20% Social Media Content Production: Creating engaging content for our social media platforms to raise awareness about our clean water initiative and community education and engagement activities.

• Requirements:

  • Passion for making an impact in clean water initiatives.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Effective writing and presentation skills.

  
  

  • Strong knowledge of Office 365, excel, and Google Workspace. Basic social media skill is plus but not required.

  • Ability to collaborate and demonstrate strong leadership in a team setting.

  • Confidence in networking event and willing to collaborate with our kep partner organizations
