We are "CanUDigit.EARTH," a bold, fresh, and unapologetically Gen Z climate movement. We’re not just about raising awareness; we’re about shaking things up, making noise, and getting people to laugh while they rethink their environmental choices.
Job Description:
We’re looking for sharp, witty, and socially conscious Satire Comedy Writers who can bring humor to the hard-hitting issues of climate change. If you have a knack for turning the absurdities of modern life into clever, laugh-out-loud satire and want to be part of a movement that’s as fun as it is impactful, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Work with real-life best practices we have identified to bring them wo life with satirical sketches, scripts, and content that tackle climate change, sustainability, and environmental issues with humor and intelligence.
- Collaborate closely with our creative team to develop content for social media, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Create punchy one-liners, clever puns, and sharp observations that align with the CanUDigIt.EARTH mission to inspire positive action.
- Turn complex environmental topics into accessible, relatable, and comedic content.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience writing satire, comedy, or humorous content (links to work or portfolio helpful.
- A strong understanding of climate change issues and environmental sustainability.
- Ability to write in a voice that is edgy, irreverent, and distinctly Gen Z.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative, remote team environment.
- Passion for social justice, environmental activism, and making a difference through creative storytelling.

Mission Statement
PeaceJourney.com (501c3 Program) produces youth-led National & International exchange trips with students from marginalized communities. We lead environmental exploration trips for hundreds of youth by land and also onboard the UN ECOSOC PeaceBoat. These trips place girls in leadership roles to explore environmental issues around the globe, exposing American students to cultures and capturing these experiences on film for social media sharing, documentaries led by our Telly Award winning documentary team, building skills in narrative storytelling, songwriting and interviewing. By sharing American culture, music and a love of adventure as we guide global friendships.

Documentary Telly Award for PeaceJourney, Eleven trips in 11 countries with over 200 students where cultural exchange is changing their perspective on their own lives; goals include producing more youth trips led by girls, focused on environmental concerts, creating amazing film to share with the world in short form and long form documentaries. We have achieved success by partnering with amazing teachers, schools and youth focused nonprofits as well as corporate sponsorship partnerships. We now are working to create a powerhouse alumni association of youth who have traveled with the PeaceJourney.com 501c3 and build a love army for the world,
