Are you a BIG HEARTED individual looking to make a difference in one's End of Life Journey byt providing them with your companionship? We need you!
Volutneers are provided with orientation and training, as well as full support from the Hospice staff. We provide a "friend" or caregiver helper repite to those in need. Different tasks include, but no limited to:
- Visit with patients to talk, play board games, watch tv, etc.
- Provide respite for short periods for family's appointments, etc so the patient is not alone (if applicable)
- Birthday Celebrations
- Sing/Play instruments
- Assist patient with nursing home activities (if applicable)
- Walk their pets (if applicable)

Traditions Health is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time and offer friendship to our amazing hospice patients. Our patients love when volunteers make visits. Visits can include activities like reading, listening to music, talking, doing a craft together, and so much more!
