Our Mission: The Bobo Fund is committed to providing assistance to pet owners facing financial hardship, ensuring that their beloved pets with chronic illnesses receive the essential medication they need.

The Bobo Fund is a brand new nonprofit organization created in memory of Bobo, a 14 year old dachshund who suffered from several chronic conditions. We know first hand how expensive these medications can be, but how necessary they are to maintain a pet's quality of life. We hope to be able to assist those facing financial hardship to alleviate the strain of keeping up with their pet's medication for chronic illnesses.

We have just received out 501(c)(3) from the IRS!

We are looking for passionate board members to join our team! This is an unpaid, volunteer position. You can be located anywhere in the US.

Whatever experience you may bring to the table, we are interested, especially those with fundraising, grant writing, or marketing experience as this will be a large part of our mission. Pet owners who feel strongly about the mission are encouraged to apply!

About The Bobo Fund

Location:

1300 Harwood Road, Bedford, TX 76021, US

Mission Statement

The Bobo Fund is committed to providing assistance to pet owners facing financial crises, ensuring that their beloved pets with chronic illnesses receive the essential medication they need.

Description

It's our mission to make sure that when pet owners are faced with a financial crises, that their pets with chronic illnesses do not go without their required medication. Many times, abruptly stopping these medications can be very harmful to a pet's health and cause even more problems. Additionally, pets may have an ongoing medical problem that is diagnosed as a chronic illness, and symptoms can be alleviated once treatment begins, but pet owners may not be a financial place to afford the medication to see if it helps. These are the types of situations that The Bobo Fund will assist with. We hope to be able to help alleviate the financial burden from pet owners in order to improve or maintain their pet's quality of life.
