Help the park greet visitors at Joshua Tree National Park's 2024 Night Sky Festival!
The Night Sky Festival is an annual event that celebrates the dark night sky and astronomy . Joshua Tree National Park is designated as an International Dark Sky Park at the Silver Tier level by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) and strives to be a refuge for those who want to experience a naturally dark night sky. Event festivities include morning and evening events including educational programs, hands-on activities, and astronomy workshops.
The park is recruiting Night Sky Festival Ambassadors who can greet festival attendees and provide event orientation. These volunteers would also help with setup and breakdown of the event.
