Are you passionate about gardening, farming, and making a real difference in your community? We’re looking for volunteers to lend their hands and hearts at our local farms and community gardens across Sacramento, including Rancho Cordova, Rosemont, Del Paso, North Highlands and South Sacramento.

We Need Your Help In:

  • Planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops.
  • Assisting in the setup and management of community garden events.
  • Educating young participants and the community about sustainable practices and healthy living.

How to Get Involved: We welcome individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. No previous gardening experience is necessary-just a willingness to learn and contribute!

Color The Block is a community-based organization committed to empowering individuals and fostering positive change through art, education, and community development. Founded with a mission to inspire creativity and promote social and environmental justice, we have grown to become a pivotal resource in underserved areas.

Our goals are to drive social and economic change by providing engaging art programs, educational workshops, and community-driven initiatives. We serve diverse populations, focusing on youth empowerment, environmental stewardship, and cultural enrichment. Our programs include after-school art classes, community garden initiatives, literacy projects, and social impact campaigns.

Achievements include successful partnerships with local organizations, impactful community events, and notable improvements in community engagement and environmental practices. Through these efforts, Color The Block continues to build vibrant, inclusive communities and drive meaningful change.
