Suncrest Hospice

Suncrest Hospice is looking for companionship volunteers to join the Suncrest Team as we provide excellent care and support to our hospice patients and their families in their homes!

The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at end of life. Through an interdisciplinary team: nurse, nurse assistant, social worker, chaplain and volunteers, we help the patient and family walk through their journey.

As a volunteer, you can choose between many opportunities: the gift of companionship, emotional support to the patient and the family, listening to music, running errands, birthday celebrations, clerical support in the office or community outreach and events. Suncrest also is a participant in the national We Honor Veterans Program and global Dementia Friends movement.

Volunteers are trained in their roles with patients, we are required to conduct background checks and TB testing, at no charge to all volunteers.

*MUST BE A LOCAL RESIDENT*

Please contact the office at 408-900-8838 for more information or email at mahmed@suncerstcare.com
