SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist case managers with direct service to refugee families, such assisting with home visits, scheduling medical appointments, and more
• Assist case managers in preparing for refugee families to arrive by buying culturally appropriate grocery items for families, preparing case files, and more
• Support with documentation and reporting for cases by gathering information and documents as needed
• Supporting with other case management tasks as needed
• Supporting with other administrative tasks as needed

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The general responsibilities of this position include the responsibilities shared by all staff and volunteers of Catholic Charities Atlanta (CCA). • Interest in working with diverse communities
• · Willing to complete all required application materials and trainings(packet, references, in person training)
• · Meet agency auto insurance requirements (if transporting clients)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Bilingual (Dari, Farsi, Arabic, Swahili, and/or Spanish preferred)
• Experience working in an intercultural setting
• Flexible
• Strong communication skills

Time Commitment : Time commitment is flexible based off of volunteer's availability. Starting between 10-15 hours per week
