We are looking for volunteers to assist patients after they recieve infusion to serve as a companion while an Uber has been called to take them home. These volunteers would need to know the process to call for an Uber and identify the patients when they arrive, let them know where they can sit while waiting with them and ensure they are able to recieve their return ride.
Must be personable and able to form positive relationships.
Major tasks would include walking patients to designated areas in the hospital to wait for their Uber and meeting patients in droff off areas to escort them to their oncology appointments when they arrive at the hospital.
