Position Overview:

The Program Designer will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing programs that align with the mission and goals of Pathway to Recovery. This position involves creating innovative and impactful programs, designing educational content, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals affected by addiction and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development:

    • Design and develop new programs that address the needs of individuals in recovery, focusing on education, support, and community engagement.
    • Revise and enhance existing programs to ensure they remain effective and relevant.
    • Research best practices in recovery and mental health to inform program design.
  • Content Creation:

    • Develop educational materials, workshops, and training sessions for program participants and staff.
    • Create engaging and accessible content, including manuals, guides, and multimedia resources, to support program delivery.
    • Ensure all content aligns with the organization's mission and is culturally sensitive and inclusive.
  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with program managers, counselors, and other stakeholders to understand the needs of the community and tailor programs accordingly.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote programs and ensure they reach the intended audience.
    • Coordinate with evaluation teams to assess program effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Establish and maintain standards for program quality and effectiveness.
    • Monitor program implementation and provide feedback to ensure consistent delivery across all locations.
    • Stay informed about trends and developments in recovery and mental health to keep programs current.
  • Training and Support:

    • Provide training to staff and volunteers on program content and delivery methods.
    • Offer ongoing support to program facilitators to ensure successful implementation.
    • Organize workshops and webinars to share program updates and best practices.
