SLK is seeking a skilled and passionate grant writer to join our team by voluntering thier time to support our mission by securing funding for our PrEP as Prevention iniatives. The ideal candidate (s) will need to have a strong background in grant writing, with a keen understanding of public health issues, particularly those related to sexual healthy, namely HIV. This role requires exceptional writing skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to articulate the impact of our programs in compelling and presuasive grant proposals.

Description

SLK Health Services Corporation (SLK) aims to become a pivotal and essential component of the local Metropolitan Washington Region's community healthcare providers, encompassing Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia. Our mission is to collaboratively work towards a future where new HIV illnesses and infections are rare. In instances where HIV illnesses and infections do arise, SLK is committed to offering every individual, irrespective of age, gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or socio-economic status, unrestricted access to exceptional, life-extending care that is devoid of stigma and discrimination.
