Become A Volunteer For WAFA (Water Air Food Awards)
WAFA is a volunteer-based NGO headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark. Our main activities are to identify, recognize and award community initiatives that address basic needs and collaborate with nature. By doing this, we give a voice to otherwise unknown and unheard heroes.
We are looking for a HR Business Partner. As a HRBP, you will be part of a team to build the HR department and work closely with international colleagues! You will have a chance to put your expertise and competencies gained in your career in this opportunity while also gaining other skills to enhance your HR career.

Your responsibilities:
- End to end talent acquisition: develop in conjunction with the hiring managers and advertise role descriptions, interview, handle volunteer agreements and paperwork, onboarding and termination process.
- Collaborating with HR team to design and deliver comprehensive HR programs and initiatives, fostering employee engagement and enhancing the employee experience.
- Be the go to HR person for the dedicated assigned department in all HR related matters.
- Administration of HR through preparation and maintenance of records, files and reports.
- Performance management: develop procedures for evaluating volunteer performance and satisfaction.
- Create and maintain a stimulating and inspiring virtual work environment for our team of volunteers.
- Create and providing expertise and guidance on HR policies
- Analyzing HR data and metrics to generate insights, providing data-driven recommendations to improve HR processes and support strategic decision-making
We expect you to:
- Have experience or interest in sustainability and our mission.
- Possess relevant HR working experience
- Have an eye for details with an open and creative mind!
- Be a strong communicator.
- Be able to work independently.
- Be fluent in English writing and verbally.
- Have availability of 8-10 hours per week minimum.
It goes without saying that you enjoy working with people and are a team player, and that you are self-driven and well-organized.
You will be working remotely and require access to a computer with fast internet connection. We communicate via emails and video calls.
