We’re thrilled to invite you to the Stop Traffic Walk Utah, a vital event aimed at raising awareness and funds to support victims of human trafficking across Utah. Hosted by the Dream Center Network, this event will highlight our essential work at the Short Creek Dream Center and the upcoming location in Mount Pleasant. Your involvement is crucial in our fight against this pressing issue.

Event Details:

3:00 - 5:00 PM: Registration Open
5:00 - 7:00 PM: Family Fun and Food Trucks
Sundown: Walk Begins

Expect a lively atmosphere with bounce houses, games, activities for kids, a variety of food vendors, and live entertainment. The walk itself is under a mile but serves as a powerful symbol of support and solidarity for human trafficking survivors.

Mission Statement

From transitional housing, recovery, community outreach and helping combat the effects of poverty, the Dream Center exists to help find and fill the needs of the Short Creek Community and beyond with our upcoming location in Mount Pleasant! Our heart is to be supportive to anyone who is on a healing journey. We are also passionate about being a place of refuge for anyone leaving or escaping environments that would be considered abusive or oppressive. The Short Creek Dream Center is a part of the largest network of organizations that help victims of human trafficking. Trafficking comes in many different forms and we want to see anyone suffering from exploitation be set free and have a place to go for support.

Description

The Stop Traffic Walk aims to raise awareness and funds for human trafficking victims in Utah. Supported by the Dream Center Network, which operates the Short Creek Dream Center and is opening a new location in Mount Pleasant, this initiative provides crucial safety and support services. The issue is larger than many Utahns realize, and your help can make a difference!

Each step you take in the Utah Stop Traffic Walk supports the fight against human trafficking. Whether walking solo, with friends, or with family, you're joining a movement committed to justice and compassion.
