The Program Leader at SafeWater Initiative will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at promoting water safety and preventing drowning incidents. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for community outreach, and a commitment to the mission of SafeWater Initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management:

    • Lead the development, execution, and management of water safety programs.
    • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including schools, community organizations, and volunteers, to ensure successful program delivery.
    • Monitor program progress, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and mentor program staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective program implementation.
    • Facilitate training sessions for staff and volunteers on water safety practices and program protocols.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Community Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local governments, and other organizations to expand the reach of SafeWater Initiative programs.
    • Represent SafeWater Initiative at community events, meetings, and other forums to promote water safety awareness.
  • Program Evaluation and Reporting:

    • Develop and implement tools for measuring program outcomes and impact.
    • Prepare detailed reports on program activities, outcomes, and challenges for the Program Director and other stakeholders.
    • Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Resource Management:

    • Manage program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
    • Coordinate with the fundraising team to identify funding opportunities and support grant applications.
  • Advocacy and Awareness:

    • Advocate for water safety policies and initiatives at the local and regional levels.
    • Develop and execute campaigns to raise awareness about water safety and drowning prevention.
