Volunteer Position: Website Manager for Wix Platform
Time Commitment: Flexible hours, approximately 10-20 hours per week for a duration of three months

Position Overview:
The Find Community Connection Project (FCCP) is seeking a dedicated volunteer to manage and maintain our Wix website. This volunteer position is crucial for ensuring that our website remains up-to-date, user-friendly, and effectively communicates our mission and programs to the public. The ideal candidate will have experience in website management, technical support, and a strong understanding of website building, particularly on the Wix platform.
Responsibilities:
Website Maintenance:
Regularly update and maintain the FCCP website on the Wix platform, ensuring all content is current and relevant.
Content Management: Upload new content, including blog posts, event updates, photos, and videos, while ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing layout.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve any website issues or bugs that may arise.
SEO Optimization: Implement basic SEO strategies to improve the visibility of the website on search engines.
Design and Layout: Assist with the design and layout of website pages to enhance user experience and engagement.
Analytics Monitoring: Monitor website analytics to track user engagement and make data-driven decisions to improve the site.
Collaboration: Work closely with the FCCP team to ensure the website reflects our brand and supports our outreach and communication goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with Wix: Demonstrated experience in managing websites on the Wix platform, including using its tools and features for content management and design.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of website building and technical support, including troubleshooting common website issues.
Design Skills: Basic understanding of graphic design principles and experience in creating visually appealing web pages.
SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure website content is accurate, error-free, and visually appealing.
