Mission Statement

To extend research based knowledge and information on home horticulture, pest management, and sustainable landscape practices to the residents of Santa Clara County.

Description

Our organization participates in a number of events and projects to educate and inform the public about gardening. Each year we trial and test cool season vegetables and warm season vegetables to determine the which ones we will grow for the Spring Garden and Fall Garden Markets. In addition to selling all vegetables from seed, the Garden Markets feature horticultural talks based on our mission. These talks are free and open to the public. You can get your gardening questions answered by stopping by an event or by calling our county help desk. For more information see our website. We have "Advice to Grow By...Ask Us!"
