Position Overview:

Precious Pairs Inc. is seeking a motivated and passionate Student Leader to lead and facilitate leadership workshops designed for youth participants. This role involves developing and delivering engaging content that empowers young people to cultivate leadership skills and take initiative in their communities. The Student Leader will be a key figure in shaping the leadership potential of participants, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Workshop Facilitation:

    • Lead and facilitate leadership workshops, ensuring they are interactive, educational, and relevant to the participants.
    • Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all participants feel valued and heard.
    • Use various teaching methods (presentations, group discussions, activities) to cater to different learning styles.
  • Content Development:

    • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to develop workshop materials and curriculum that align with the goals of Precious Pairs Inc.
    • Customize content to address the unique needs and interests of different participant groups.
    • Stay updated on leadership trends and best practices to continually enhance workshop content.
  • Participant Engagement:

    • Encourage active participation and foster a supportive community among workshop attendees.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to participants, helping them apply leadership concepts to real-life situations.
    • Address any questions or concerns from participants, ensuring they feel supported throughout the workshop.
  • Logistics and Planning:

    • Assist in the planning and coordination of workshop logistics, including scheduling, materials preparation, and venue setup (if applicable).
    • Work closely with other student leaders and volunteers to ensure the smooth execution of workshops.
    • Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of each workshop, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Outreach and Promotion:

    • Promote leadership workshops within the student community and other relevant networks to encourage participation.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that highlight the benefits of the workshops.
    • Represent Precious Pairs Inc. at events, meetings, and other opportunities to raise awareness of the leadership program.
