Would you like to help stock a food pantry or hand out food to neighbors in need in the city of Fullerton?
We are serving about 300 HOUSEHOLDS EACH WEEK who are facing food insecurities and you can help feed them!
1. Shelf Stocking Shifts are available on Mondays, select Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30am-12pm
2. Food Distribution Shifts Available on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays, and select Fridays from 12:30-4:30pm
AM shift tasks include receiving donated food, sorting food, stocking food, setting up chairs for clients, breaking down boxes and basic clean up.
PM shift tasks include helping with client registration, assisting clients to select shelf stable & fresh food, cleaning the work area, putting away the chairs, and other tasks related to the food bank.
Spanish speakers are appreciated for the PM shift, but not necessary.
Volunteers need to be an adult aged 18 or older, be able to lift at least 20 lbs, and wear closed toed shoes.
One to two volunteers are welcome for most shifts!

All new volunteers need to complete a phone interview and training with our Volunteer Program Specialist. Please wait for a call before beginning any volunteering.
For almost 50 years Pathways of Hope has been providing food, shelter and support and prevention services to the hungry, homeless and marginalized through assistance of local congregations, volunteers, businesses and grants from foundations and government agencies.
With your support we can provide food to those who are struggling to make ends meet.

Description
Pathways of Hope is committed to rebuilding lives of the hungry and homeless in Orange County through Housing, Outreach, Prevention, and Engagement. Once a family or individual has become homeless, the path back to stability can be very challenging. Pathways of Hope offers several housing options to fit different situations, all with the goal of helping families and individuals re-gain permanent housing as quickly as possible. Pathways of Hope operates a resource center, the HUB of Hope, which offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals in Orange County.
