Please visit the new page to apply.
Recruiting Organization: Appomattox Regional Library System
Located at the Hopewell Library, we have a used-book bookstore, stocking a selection of fiction, classics, nonfiction, juvenile, and children’s books at very reasonable prices.
Become a bookstore volunteer. Bookstore volunteers process payments and receive them from customers. Bookstore volunteers are responsible for stocking bookshelves and setting up displays. Volunteers must also greet customers, scan items for shipping, and bag purchases.
Proceeds from the Hopewell-Prince George Friends bookstore support children and adult reading programs, the purchase of equipment, materials, and resources to enhance library services beyond the library’s budget.
