Use your compassion and talents to make a DIFFERENCE!
Circle of Care Volunteers call home care patients or their caregivers each week to check on their needs prior to the weekend. Volunteers follow a phone script, assisting them to identify patient needs such as medication refills, supplies, or equipment that need to be addressed.
As a Circle of Care Volunteer, you'll contribute to a collaborative, proactive approach in caring for terminally ill patients and their families. After training and education, the calls may be made from your home or your local AccentCare(r)office.
Qualifying applicants are U.S. Citizens that are 15 years of age or older and able to pass a health screen, background check, and drug test.
Notice: Our volunteer opportunities require in-person completion of some hiring modules and training during the onboarding process. Applicants should consider this requirement upon application and be able to accommodate.
Other Volunteer Opportunities include:
- Direct Patient Care
- Bereavement Support (Remote)
- Caregiver Relief
- Office Support
- Pet Therapy
- Vigil Volunteer
- and more!
