Position Title: Microsoft 365 and Teams Setup Specialist
Organization: Sync with God
Location: Remote
Commitment: Part-time, Volunteer
Duration: 3 months, ongoing
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy volunteer to help set up and manage Microsoft 365 and Teams as a virtual office for our non-profit Christian ministry. Our mission is to create online learning programs that empower individuals to become Christian followers who multiply. This role is crucial in ensuring our team can collaborate effectively and deliver impactful discipleship courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft 365 Setup:
- Configure Microsoft 365 accounts for staff and volunteers.
- Set up email, calendar, and other essential Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ensure proper security settings and permissions are in place.
- Microsoft Teams Implementation:
- Create and organize Teams channels for different departments and projects.
- Integrate Teams with other Microsoft 365 applications for seamless workflow.
- Train staff and volunteers on using Teams for communication and collaboration.
- Technical Support:
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 and Teams.
- Develop user guides and training materials to assist staff and volunteers.
- Stay updated on new features and updates to Microsoft 365 and Teams.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with ministry leaders to understand their needs and customize the setup accordingly.
- Facilitate virtual meetings and ensure smooth communication within the team.
- Encourage and support the adoption of digital tools for effective ministry operations.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Teams.
- Experience in setting up and managing Microsoft 365 environments.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for the mission of creating discipleship courses and mentoring programs.
