Sanctuary Hospice is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Volunteers-like you! Our Volunteers provide companionship and socialization to patients along with respite for their loved ones when they need it most! This gives them a much-needed break. With social isolation at an all-time high, it's the commitment of our volunteers that our patients rely on to brighten their day. Visit one-on-one, send cards of encouragement, or make check in phone calls with patients and families to provide support. We have patients in the Cincinnati and Dayton regions.
Volunteers are crucial to the hospice experience and a vital part of our team of caregivers. Patients and families value the personal touch volunteers bring to an emotional process at the end of life’s journey.
Required to complete volunteer application, background check, TB testing, Drug Screening and training-all provided FREE of charge. Must be Covid vaccinated. Contact Maggie Penick, Volunteer Coordinator, for details MaggiePenick@SanctuaryHospiceOH.com.
