We need 1 or 2 people for about 8 each total to assist Midtown Family Services staff to catch up on filing and organizing. We hate to admit it, but a couple of us have some drawers that have become catch alls for all sorts of paper, some of which we should trash but some of which should be sorted and filed. We will sort with you. You need to read well to properly sort. You need decent penmanship to write on the files. Finally you will need to observe confidentiality rules as you may come across personal notes. Other than that, no special skills. At 68 degrees due to the need to keep the food pantry at a certain temperature, our office does feel a bit chilly to some folks so dress accordingly.

Description
Midtown Family Services provides support for low-income individuals/families living in San Jose and surrounding communities in two program areas: Financial counseling and navigation services for low income, working, members of the community with basic needs; and reentry of individuals back into the community after incarceration in state prison.
