ORGANIZATION: Greater Cleveland Volunteers

Gain experience or utilize your experience in larger fundraising and friendraising logistics , advertising, marketing strategies and social media management. Assist with online fundraising and marketing.

Annual fundraising walk fundraising volunteer commits 2-3 days (week) between January until early June. Assist with producing solicitation letters and follow up. Help create team packets. Send team captains welcome emails and follow up phone calls. Help our Walk Chairs with social media, letter writing and sponsor campaign. Reach out and encourage past and new walkers. Help food committee find and obtain in-kind items.

Walk Kick Off Reception Volunteer commits to 1-2 days (week) in March. Make follow up phone calls to past walkers. Help coordinate decorations. Help with food donations and preparation. Help with registering and fundraising questions. Register new walkers at the Walk Kick Off Reception.

P ast experience in marketing, communications, or fundraising or interest in these fields. Proficient with various computer programs. Able to convey the importance of this event to donors and the general public . 4 hours of general volunteer orientation
