ORGANIZATION: HOLY FAMILY CHARITABLE GIVING FUND INC aka Beyond Baptism

Location: Remote

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coder who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications and custom solutions. This role involves coding, debugging, and implementing solutions that improve the functionality and user experience of our environment. SharePoint experience is helpful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create and customize sites, workflows, web parts, and applications. Develop custom solutions using HTML, CSWS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and other relevant technologies.

  • Integration: Integrate with other systems and applications using REST APIs, web services, and third-party tools.

  • Testing: Perform unit testing and quality assurance on developed solutions to ensure they meet specifications and perform as expected.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with managers and end-users to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

  • Upgrades and Maintenance: Support upgrades and maintenance activities to ensure the platform remains current and secure.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience with website development,

    • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.

    • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and SharePoint PowerShell commands is a plus.

    • Experience with animation software like Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
    • Portfolio showcasing past work in web animation preferrable.
  • Skills:

    • Solid understanding of website architecture, components, and best practices.

    • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and adhere to coding standards.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    • Experience with CSS animations, JavaScript libraries (e.g., GSAP, Anime.js), and SVG animations.

They will assist parish priests in the evangelization of lapsed and uninspired Catholics and evangelize disengaged Protestants through an education program about the Glory of the Blessed Eucharist and the Holy Spirit.
