Are you interested in singing or playing the piano, guitar, violin, or other instruments to our patients?
If so, please let me know! I am looking to recruit volunteers who can give a two to three hours a week or every other week to brighten up someone’s day with music. You would be playing and singing in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We will work with your schedule!
Come join the Enhabit Hospice Volunteer TEAM!
Be a part of our special team of Enhabit Hospice Volunteers. We care for our patients in the place they call home -- a private residence, skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, or other inpatient setting. Just a few hours a week can make a lasting impact on the lives of others.
Volunteer Opportunity:
Direct Patient Care - Sitting with patients, playing music, singing, reading, working puzzles, watching tv/movies and sharing life stories. This may also include Caregiver Respite where you will visit with the patient while the caregiver runs errands, takes time for themselves or goes to appointments.
Mission Statement
At Enhabit Hospice, we believe hospice is not a place, but rather a philosophy of care. Our goal is to bring dignity and comfort home by offering compassionate care to patients and their families during the final stages of life.
