About CLENT Africa

Location:

1 Lekki - Epe Admiralty, Lagos, Lagos 101245, NG

Mission Statement

CLENT Africa is dedicated to fostering sustainable development across Africa through a multifaceted approach that includes climate change education, environmental health, renewable energy initiatives, environmental conservation, disability & gender equality advocacy, and technological innovation. We strive to empower communities by providing the knowledge, resources, and support necessary to drive meaningful change. By engaging local and global partners, we aim to create lasting impacts that ensure a healthier planet and brighter future for all.

Description

Africa is facing a profound crisis as it is disproportionately affected by climate change. Extreme weather events, like droughts and floods, devastate agriculture and displace communities in Eastern and Southern Africa (UN OCHA). Africa’s low adaptive capacity and high dependence on natural resources make it uniquely vulnerable to these climate impacts (UNEP). This threat is compounded by severe health consequences, including malnutrition and disease (Carbon Brief). Despite contributing the least to global emissions, Africa bears the brunt of climate change (UNFCCC). This crisis demands urgent action and investment in adaptation and resilience.

CLENT Africa addresses these challenges through initiatives focused on climate change, sustainable energy, environmental conservation, and gender equality. Our goals include promoting climate change awareness through education, fostering renewable energy solutions, conserving the environment, advocating for disability and gender equality, leveraging open-source technology, and providing educational opportunities.

Through our programs, CLENT Africa reaches numerous communities, schools, and organizations across Africa, raising awareness, inspiring action, and creating tangible benefits. Join us in our mission to create a sustainable and equitable future for Africa. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you for your support!
