Helping Link/Một Dấu Nối is looking for videographers to cover our "Raise the Paddle" program for the upcoming 31st annual fundraising event in October. The volunteers will work independently and submit their final work in digital form to the managers of Helping Link. Responsibilities:
- Take professional videos of our "Raise the Paddle" program for the event.
- Have your own videography equipment.
- Be able to effectively operate equipment to achieve maximum visual effect in a timely manner.
- Should have a basic understanding of image-capturing techniques and be able to process digital works with appropriate software.
- Must be able to communicate well with community members and collaborators/volunteers to achieve the best results possible.
- Volunteers should be able to perform duties in various positions without losing the ability to focus.
- Driver's License or Legal form of ID needed for Background Check.
- Must be at least 16 years of age to apply.
- Must be able to reliably commute to Renton to film.
- Orientation and Training.
- Mutually agreed upon date

- Hands-on experience showcasing and building skills in Videography.
- Get a chance to promote and support a local community-driven grassroots organization’s mission to improve the lives of the Vietnamese community in King County.
- Network and connect with sponsors, clients, volunteers and members of the Board of Directors within and outside of Helping Link/Một Dấu Nối.

Description
Helping Link has been serving the Vietnamese-American immigrant community for twenty-five years. We provide English language, citizenship, and computer education classes for adults and seniors; job-site language training; information and referral services for our most vulnerable; and cultural events for the community. Our programs are offered in a bilingual context and in a supportive, family-friendly atmosphere.
