Hospice is a very hallowed calling to be there for someone in the possible later stages of their life. We would love to have you a part of our team to maximize the support of our loveable, sometimes lonely, mostly older adults. Your role could be of friendship through active listening, building rapport, assessing for needs that you can share with the hospice coordinator and team, helping with small tasks and showing them human dignity and compassion as they are often in the later stages of their life. You could also be a great emotional and communication support to the families as they may struggle with anticipatory grief.
