Join us in making a difference in our community! The Sole Harvest Race is back, and we need your help to make it a success. This exciting event supports the Norristown Hospitality Center, providing essential services to those who are experiencing poverty and homelessness.
We need volunteers to help on race day from 7:00 AM - 12:00 Noon. We have various roles during the event.
When: Saturday, October 5, 2024
Where: Norristown Farm Park
Time: 7:00 AM - 12:00 Noon
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with:
- Registration
- Raffle
- Parking attendants
- Race setup
- Cleanup
- And more!
No experience necessary - just a willingness to help! Our volunteer coordinators will work with you to match your skills with a volunteer position!

Motivated by God's love, the center provides basic needs and social services to empower those experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Description
For over 30 years, the Norristown Hospitality Center has continued to be a place of hope and support for the mentally ill, unemployed, homeless, and low-income. Each day we have between 85 and 122 people sign in to use our free services, available five days a week. Services include: breakfast, hot showers, mail services, counseling, lockers, emergency food baskets, legal, medical & mental health referrals, case management, and afternoon programs aimed to strengthen life skills. Breakfast is served Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 8:00 am.
