At SOAR 4031 Foundation, we are dedicated to addressing Post-Incarceration Syndrome (PICS)-a collection of symptoms experienced by individuals who have been previously incarcerated, as well as their families and support networks. In partnership with the University of Cincinnati, we conduct research and provide support to aid in the mental health rehabilitation of these individuals. Our mission is to foster healing, resilience, and reintegration into society.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant to provide virtual support to our founder, Chazidy Robinson. In this role, you will assist with various administrative tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating interviews, and overseeing volunteer activities. Your contribution will be vital in helping us continue our impactful work and advance our research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage Chazidy Robinson’s calendar, including scheduling and rescheduling meetings, interviews, and other engagements.
- Interview Coordination: Assist in organizing interview appearances, including preparing materials, confirming details, and handling follow-ups.
- Volunteer Coordination: Support the recruitment, onboarding, and management of volunteers, ensuring smooth communication and engagement.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle general administrative duties such as email correspondence, document preparation, and data entry.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to scheduling and volunteer coordination.
Qualifications:
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace) and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Docs).
- Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Commitment: Passion for mental health advocacy and support for formerly incarcerated individuals and their families.

Description
We were established in 2020 to raise awareness about Covid 19 in our prisons. in that we began to expose other things.Like excessive use of force and lack of healthcare. We launched a two year project to put body cameras on corrections officers and I ma pleased to say that. As of May 1 of this year. All corrections officers will have them in Ohios prisons. We have several annual projects such as our fan project where we raise funds to distribute fans inside of Ohios prisons during the summer months. So far we have distributed 800 fans in 2 years. We also have our Christmas program where we provide Christmas for children with incarcerated parents. We have serves about 100 kids and 30 families in 2 years. Lastly we have our womens program POW Protect Our Women. That will help these women on their journey to freedmen and sobriety.
