We have different types of volunteer opportunities in these areas:

1. Companionship: We are seeking help in providing companionship for a sweet elderly person in their time of need. If you have a kind heart and a free hour every week or other week, we would love to have you! No skills or experience needed, just a loving presence. Some volunteers make conversation through life review, some watch tv or movies, some read to their patients. Companionship volunteering is personalized to the needs of the patient and the volunteers capabilities.

2. We are seeking a outgoing Bingo Caller for our Collinsville facility, this event will be every other Thursday, at 2pm, for about an hour.

3. Activity Coordinating help: Volunteer by going to our various facilities and playing games, doing activities, or helping serve special parties! Playing games is not just for children. It’s a fun, engaging, and stress relieving activity that should be practiced by all of us, even in old age. Help us prevent isolation, improve memory, and beat loneliness, in the best way possible! You don’t have to be great at these things, just present, loving and helpful!
