Position Overview:
The Pathway to Recovery Foundation is seeking a creative and skilled Web Creator to develop, maintain, and optimize our online presence. The Web Creator will play a pivotal role in ensuring our website effectively communicates our mission, engages our community, and provides essential resources to those in need. This role requires a combination of web design, content management, and technical expertise to enhance user experience and support the foundation’s digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:Website Design & Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain the foundation’s website, ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with the organization’s branding and mission.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure the website is accessible across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Collaborate with the communications and marketing teams to integrate content, media, and campaigns seamlessly into the website.
Content Management:
- Update website content regularly, including news, blog posts, event announcements, and resource pages.
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and adheres to accessibility standards.
- Manage multimedia elements such as images, videos, and infographics, ensuring they are optimized for web performance.
Technical Maintenance:
- Monitor website performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the website is secure, up-to-date, and functioning properly.
- Implement regular backups, updates, and security measures to protect the website and its data.
- Collaborate with IT or external support teams to resolve technical issues as they arise.
User Experience (UX) Enhancement:
- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify areas for improvement in website navigation and functionality.
- Implement enhancements to improve the user experience, including page load speed, navigation, and content accessibility.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and engagement using tools such as Google Analytics.
- Generate regular reports on website performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the website’s goals, such as visitor growth, conversion rates, and bounce rates.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with various departments within the foundation to ensure the website supports and amplifies their work.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align web strategies with organizational goals.
