On Sunday, September 15, our virtual village (building community while aging in place) is having its annual picnic at Meridian Park in Wallingford. The picnic begins at 3 pm. We need help loading/unloading tables and other items. We are looking for just a couple of volunteers who drive and could help transport and unloan folding tables, coolers, etc.
Our hoped-for volunteers would enjoy coming to a picnic, getting to know people, playing games, all while being helpful to the somewhat older group of attendees. Shifts are possible if we have at least 4 volunteers. We will feed you and offer soft drinks.
