**Position Overview:**

The Program Assistant will play a critical role in helping us expand our donor base by reaching out to potential donors. This position involves making calls to individuals and organizations to secure contributions that will support our programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable on the phone, has a knack for building relationships, and is passionate about our mission.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Make outbound calls to prospective donors, introducing them to our organization and encouraging financial support.

- Maintain and update a donor database with accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and donor information.

- Assist in developing and refining call scripts and outreach strategies.

- Provide detailed information about our programs and answer any questions from potential donors.

- Prepare thank-you notes and follow-up communications for donors.

**Qualifications:**

- Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone.

- Confidence in speaking with a wide range of individuals and organizations.

- Ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections professionally.

- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or fundraising is a plus.

- Passion for assisting low income families in the fight against poverty
