Treasured Pets Foundation (TPF) is a registered 501(c)(3)

tax-exempt organization incorporated in Florida. We are located in the St.

Petersburg - Clearwater, FL area. The organization was formed in 2021 for the

sole purpose of disrupting and combatting Economic Euthanasia. We are dedicated

to empowering pet and companion animal parents with the knowledge and resources

needed to enhance and extend the lives of their beloved canine and feline

companions. While we’ve made outstanding progress since 2021, Treasured Pets

still has scores of work to do. The problem of Economic Euthanasia is enormous,

and the solution complex -- requiring considerable funds and abundant human

resources. We need your support to expedite the release of our innovative

programs intended to disrupt and alleviate Economic Euthanasia. Please help us

fulfill our mission and realize our vision by donating the time you feel

comfortable contributing.

The SEO Specialist role is vital to our organization's

mission. Accordingly, the position will convert from an unpaid volunteer role

to a paid career when the company is solvent.

Title: SEO Specialist

Pay: Unpaid position that will convert to a paid

salary of $49,000-$60,000

Time Commitment: Five+ hours per week with a min.

commitment of six-months

Shift and Schedule: You decide, Monday - Friday, Weekends

Description: We are looking for a passionate SEO

professional who is self-driven to own the project execution and analysis that

helps drive a best-in-class search strategy across our foundation. As the first

SEO at Treasured Pets, this is an incredible opportunity to make a huge impact

and drive new contributors that take our organic search and programs to the

next level.

An SEO Specialist at Treasured Pets will help create

and optimize our content for better reach, brand awareness, and ranking in

search engines. The duties of this professional include researching trends and

best practices on the web, building links with companies that complement our

organization, and writing engaging content that includes the right search

engine terms to get our brand and web pages noticed.

SEO Specialist Duties and Responsibilities: As an

SEO Specialist, you will analyze our organization's website to ensure we follow

best practices for search engine optimization. Your duties include reading

through all the current content to find opportunities for improvement and formatting

the site properly for smooth navigation on smartphones, other mobile devices,

and desktop computers while tracking backlinks and keywords already in

place that may be underperforming.

As our SEO Specialist, you'll perform research to determine

the best keywords for a particular web page and then create content that embeds

those keywords while providing value to the potential donors and stakeholders

who view the page. This position requires someone who plans on staying current

on search engine trends so the websites they optimize can maintain their search

engine rankings. Other duties include the following:

  • Identifying trends and gleaning insights from

testing, plus data collection and analysis

  • Creating and initiating PPC ads while tracking,

reporting, and analyzing results

  • Analyze and optimize our social media platforms

for optimal SEO

  • Researching new and emergent keywords and integrating them into content
  • Keeping track of what competitors are doing and how well it’s working for them
  • Developing strategies to team with high-value sites and implement cross-links
  • Collaborating with marketing and advertising teams to create SEO content
  • Suggesting changes to sites that improve positioning via content and linking
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis
  • Monitor key SEO and business KPIs
  • Manage writers and execute content briefs for our blog, newsletter, and website
  • Manage our link-building strategy to drive increases in domain authority
  • Manage our local SEO and Google My Business (GMB) strategy
  • Stay well-informed of industry trends and best practices in search engine optimization
  • Share reporting and analysis of performance metrics with the executive team
  • Help promote SEO awareness and best practices across the organization including educating stakeholders
  • Conduct routine technical SEO audits, increase page speed, and overall site health, manage on site SEO to improve rankings and conversions, develop internal link-building strategy, and optimize top content to improve rankings and conversions
