Bikes 4 All People is a non-profit social enterprise of Community Development for All People, and strives to provide low-or-no cost bicycles, bicycle parts, accessories, and quick while you wait repairs and services. We also offer meaningful volunteer experiences, fully refurbished bikes for sale, and public shop use and repair assistance.

Many of the people we serve are low to moderate income community members, so we strive to have affordable and accessible options for all. We bring together people who cycle for exercise, reduce their carbon footprint, mental health, as well as cyclists who depend on bikes as their primary means of transport.

We are seeking volunteers of varying skill sets (you don't have to be a mechanic!). Mechanical skills are helpful, but we are also looking for folks to help keep the shop clean, sort parts, and learn more about bicycles in the process.

Description

Creating a Community that Cares for All People

Chartered in 2003, The Church for All People grew out of the message of unconditional love offered by the Free Store and the atmosphere of hospitality it created. It is intentionally cross-class and multi-racial. The church welcomes each of us as we are, no matter who we are or what we have done, and offers an environment where each of us can grow in our discipleship and turn our lives toward the light.

The United Methodist Free Store

Since 1999 the Free Store has provided free clothing and household goods to anyone who seeks them, as an outward expression of god's unconditional love. Over 35,000 families are Free Store members and about $2 million worth of goods are given away each year.
