Volunteers are a vauable part of our care team. Based on your interests and preferences, receive specific volunteer training to help improve the quality of life for others.
Volunteers needed to provide companionship at a patient's bedside because our patients need YOU to be there for them in sometimes the simpliest ways:
- Hold a hand, share a story
- Write a letter or send a card
- Listen
- Read or sing or listen to music
- Run errands or perform light house keeping
- Bake or garden
- Spend Quality Time
We support our volunteers and appreciate the important role you will play in care. We help prepare you to be the best volunteer you can be as we offer specific and targeted training to you.
Volunteering takes no advanced medical training or great commitment. All our volunteers are given assignments that best suit your time, skills, and interests.
