Tutor with Invest in Youth!
Invest in Youth is a Seattle-based non-profit organization that provides free tutoring to local 3rd-5th grade students across the city. Will you join us this year?
Each tutor is matched with the same student for the whole school year and the pair works together to on areas of homework and core content areas such as math and reading.
Tutoring experience is not required. Educational materials and activities, training, support, and heartfelt appreciation are provided at every session. Tutoring begins at the end of October through May, and takes place once every week across five conveniently located elementary schools in Seattle.
We are currently seeking tutors at five Seattle Public Schools:
- Beacon Hill Elementary (Tuesdays 3:40pm in Beacon Hill)
- Roxhill Elementary (Tuesdays 2:40pm in High Point)
- South Shore K-8 (Tuesdays 3:40pm in Rainier Beach)
- Thurgood Marshall Elementary (Thursdays 3:40pm in Central District)
- Sanislo Elementary (Thursdays 3:40pm in Delridge)

Description
Invest In Youth ( www.investinyouth.org) is a business-to-youth tutoring program created in 1997 by financial advisor Harriett Morton. The program was originally designed for investment professionals who are often available after 3pm because of the early market closing on the West Coast, but has since expanded to include financial professionals from a variety of industries.
